The Cosy Loop Community Anniversary Project

To celebrate our 1-year anniversary, we’re creating something truly special together — a beautiful Cosy Loop Community Granny Square Blanket inspired by our signature Cosy Loop colour palette. 

This project is all about community, creativity, and connection. 

We’re inviting our wonderful Cosy Loop community to contribute: 

● 1–2 granny squares to become part of our collaborative community blanket ● PLUS create your own project using the same Cosy Loop colour palette 

Whether you’re a beginner or experienced maker, this project is designed to be inclusive, fun, and meaningful. 

How It Works 

1. Choose your yarn colours from our official Cosy Loop palette 

2. Create 1–2 granny squares following the project guidelines 

3. Submit your squares by the due date 

4. Optionally create your own matching project alongside the community blanket 5. Watch our beautiful community creation come to life 

Who Can Join? 

Everyone that has attended a class, workshop or craft circle with us is welcome to participate.

Frequently Asked Questions 

Do I need to be an experienced crocheter? 

Not at all Beginners are absolutely welcome. 

Do I have to use the official colour palette? 

Yes, to ensure the final community blanket feels cohesive and beautifully coordinated. Can I make more than 2 squares? 

At this stage we’re asking participants to contribute 1–2 squares so as many community members as possible can be included. 

What size should the granny squares be? 

Detailed sizing guidelines will be included in the project information pack. Can children participate? 

Absolutely. We’d love to see younger makers join in with support from a parent or guardian if needed. 

Can I join if I’m a beginner? 

Yes. This project is designed to be welcoming and inclusive for all skill levels. Do I need to attend events in person? 

No, you can participate from home and still be part of the project. 

What happens to the blanket afterwards? 

Our blanket will be displayed in our shop for every one to admire.
