Scarf Make-A-Long Help Us Wrap Our Community in Warmth The Cosy Loop is inviting our wonderful community of knitters and crocheters to come together for a very special project.
Inspired by two of our lovely customers, Pat and Kate, who work closely with the Heidelberg CWA, we're launching our Scarf Make-A-Long to create handmade scarves for women and children experiencing homelessness this winter.
Every scarf donated will be distributed by the Heidelberg CWA to people in our local community who need a little extra warmth, comfort and kindness. Whether you're an experienced maker or picking up a hook or needles for the first time, we'd love you to be part of this community project.
How You Can Get Involved
There are plenty of ways to participate: Donate a Knitted or Crocheted Scarf Already have a scarf you've made? Bring it along to any of our sessions before mid-August and we'll ensure it reaches the Heidelberg CWA.
Join a Craft Circle Book into one of our welcoming craft circles and make your scarf alongside other local makers. It's a wonderful way to connect, create and contribute to a meaningful cause.
Purchase a Yarn Pack We've put together special scarf yarn packs, making it easy to get started. Take your project home or work on it during one of our craft circles.
Create at Home Prefer crafting from the comfort of your own home? Purchase a yarn pack, make your scarf in your own time, and return it to The Cosy Loop throughout August. Every Stitch Makes a Difference A handmade scarf is so much more than warmth—it lets someone know they're cared for. Together, we hope to create a collection of beautiful scarves that will provide comfort, dignity and kindness to those who need it most.
A heartfelt thank you to Pat and Kate for inspiring this initiative and for the wonderful work they do with the Heidelberg CWA. We are proud to support their efforts and hope our amazing Cosy Loop community will join us in making a difference. Let's wrap our community in warmth—one scarf at a time.
